Jakarta, February 26, 2026 – The 41st Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) 2026 was officially launched at the
Auditorium of the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia. Carrying the theme “The Ultimate Hub
for Global Sourcing,” TEI 2026 will be held on 14–18 October 2026 at ICE BSD City, Tangerang, Banten.
The exhibition will connect Indonesian exporters, international buyers, and business stakeholders through
a strategic B2B trade platform.
The launching ceremony was attended by Mr. Dr. Budi Santoso, M.Si., Minister of Trade of the Republic of
Indonesia; Mrs. Dyah Roro Esti Widya Putri, B.A., M.Sc., Vice Minister of Trade of the Republic of
Indonesia; Mr. Drs. Isy Karim, M.Si., Director General of Domestic Trade; Mrs. Fajarini Puntodewi, S.H.,
M.Si., Director General of National Export Development; Mr. Ali Murtopo Simbolon, Deputy for Trade and
Digital Economy Coordination of the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs; Mr. Kasan, Secretary of
the Coordinating Ministry for Food Affairs; and Mr. Vibiadhi Swasti Pradana, MTIM, President Director
of PT Debindomulti Adhiswasti, alongside representatives from government institutions, business
associations, and strategic partners.
Mrs. Fajarini Puntodewi, S.H., M.Si., presented the strategic direction of TEI 2026, highlighting efforts
to expand export opportunities and strengthen Indonesia’s global trade network. Mr. Vibiadhi Swasti Pradana,
MTIM, presented the preparation and implementation plans as President Director of PT Debindomulti Adhiswasti.
Mr. Dr. Budi Santoso, M.Si. stated that TEI 2026 targets a transaction value of USD 17.5 billion. The Ministry
of Trade has prepared an integrated trade facilitation strategy covering business matching before the exhibition,
transaction facilitation during the event, and post-exhibition contract monitoring.
TEI 2026 will introduce the Buyers Hospitality Program, providing complimentary hotel accommodation for selected
international buyers. The program aims to strengthen buyer participation and support more effective business
engagement during the exhibition. TEI 2026 will showcase five main sectors, including Food, Beverages & Agriculture
Products, Manufactured Products, Industrial Estate, Fashion & Craft, and Furniture & Home Decor. The exhibition will
also feature Business Matching, Business Counselling, MoU & Trade Contract Signing, Trade Mission & Delegation
Meeting, Seminar & Business Forum, and TEI Night.
The official launch marks the beginning of preparations for the 41st Trade Expo Indonesia, one of
Indonesia’s key international trade exhibitions. TEI 2026 will provide opportunities for Indonesian
exporters to connect with international buyers and explore potential business partnerships.
The exhibition is expected to support stronger global trade connections and contribute to the
continued growth of Indonesian exports.
